About Dr. Talya
Working with children has always been my calling, but understanding the gastrointestinal tract is where I knew I had found my place as a physician. It immediately clicked. As a father of three, I know how frustrating and confusing gastrointestinal issues can be for a caregiver, and I knew I could make a positive impact.
I completed my fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2016. I was fortunate enough to be trained in diagnosing motility disorders in both pediatrics and adults- an area of study I am still fascinated by today!
Since my time at UCLA, I have been in practice at large medical centers but knew I was meant for something different. I have always tried approaching each disease from multiple angles, utilizing blended treatment modalities. I appreciate the freedom to “think outside the box” and offer my patients a range of interventions from traditional to alternative approaches.
Opening NorCal Pediatric GI is a dream come true for me. I hope that each person I meet will walk away knowing they have chosen the right provider to meet their child’s individualized needs. Each child is unique, and they deserve to be treated as such.
I can’t wait to meet you and be a part of getting your child on track to living their best life!
